Waseda University

Lafcadio Hearn taught English literature here in 1904, the very year he passed away.
Though he taught here only half a year, he affected the students like Ogawa Mimei, and made a good friend with a greatest Japanese literator Tsubouchi Shôyô, a colleague professor.
