Jishôin En'yûji Temple (Kobudera)

kobudera While Hearn was living at Ichigaya-Tomihisa-chô, he loved this temple and visited so often that his wife Setsu thought he would be there whenever he was not at home.
When the temple cut three trees to sell, Hearn was dissapointed and got angry. That made him to think of leaving the town.
Still, his funeral was held here because Setsu thought there was no other adequate place in Tokyo.
Today the temple exists but there is nothing related to Hearn. In addition, different from the days of Hearn, the temple is not called "Kobudera" today.
